 Investors have reacted surprisingly cautiously to the significant changes which have taken place at Financial Objects (50p), a company that develops and markets software that manages the back office operations of wholesale and retail banks. At 46.5p the company is capitalised at just £xxm and stripping out the £5m cash leaves a valuation of £xxm for the underlying business. Our view is that the scepticism is misplaced and the shares are poised for a sharp move upwards for a number of reasons. First is that Financial Objects still maintains a strong position in the market with a blue chip customer base.
