Ahead of results on 25 November, Character has issued a trading statement indicating that the results for the year to 31 August should be up to best expectations. Within the Toy Division, a numberof the own-developed ranges have performed strongly including theReady Steady Cook range. Meanwhile, Character also announcedthat it has signed a number of new character merchandising agreementsfor the UK.
