Findel- Catalogue side enjoys another burst of growth

Findel has announced that it expects to report results for the six months to 30 September in line with market expectations. Mostof Findel's growth is expected to arise from its home shopping business where sales are up 30% in the first half. This is totally at odds with the recent statement from mail order operator, N Brown, 147p,where sales have been flat. In particular, Findel does not operate in the most competitive clothing market whilst sales of durable goods has risen. The increase in  sales is already translating into higher margin structured credit sales. The second half, which includes Christmas, however, is the key to the outcome for the full year.
