Shares in the specialist high-speed packaging and automation solutions provider backed off from the £6 highs after the interims, but then they had doubled since I made them a main buy in February ‘20 at 302p. Results for the year to December included Lambert for 12 months (versus eight in the comparable period) and Switchback for a maiden three months. Overall, sales were £36.8m, a 20% reduction. Pretax profit decreased by 16% to £6.3m and eps declined 20% to 31.4p. But that bald percentages belie the fact that the 2019 comparables had been boosted by some lumpy orders from a U.S healthcare company and these results demonstrate a much stronger and more diverse order book at £55.5m (+6% year-on-yea ...
