I had an interesting meeting with Portmeirion Group’s (PMP; 460p) chief executive Mike Rayboud two months ago.  I didn’t write at the time but now with the share price virtually halved since then, it looks like things have bottomed out and it’s time to buy rate them. I have a long enough memory to recall that Portmeirion had, up until last year, also recorded a fairly astonishing ten year unbroken record of growing profits and earnings, which had made it a “boring” investment for all the right reasons.Homewares, which is Portmeirion’s mainstay, has also in the past provided a lucrative number of opportunities for SCSW.
