Consistent with most consumer businesses, beauty brands business Brand Architekts has experienced a significant fall in sales since the lockdown began. Although most of the company’s sales are made through grocers and pharmacies, both of which continue to trade through the UK lockdown and key Xmas gift orders have already been secured,  department stores have closed whilst international sales have also struggled. That said, with £17.8m net cash (104p per share), it values the existing trading business, which made £1.6m profit in the latest H1, at <3x post tax profit.
