Like many game development companies, Frontier Developments has not been idle over the past five years. A business that started as a work-for-hire developer writing games for third parties has been transformed into publisher of its own video games, on the surface similar to other quoted publishers but in my opinion a classier act. The proof really is in the pudding. Sales have been ramping up strongly this year from its three existing triple A games - space trading game Elite Dangerous, rollercoaster theme park creation simulator Planet Coaster and dinosaur theme park creation simulator Jurassic World Evolution.
