Kainos - All going well for government digitalisation

Ahead of full year results on 29 May, Kainos said all parts performed well. Kainos recruited another 150 IT specialists in H2 versus 44 in H1 to bring the total to 1,169. With staff a “proxy” for growth it demonstrates that the business was on fire during H2.Digital Services performance has been very strong driven by UK government digitisation and Workday consulting services. Digital Platforms was mostly driven by the Kainos Workday testing SaaS offering, Smart, but it looks like the spending thaw in the NHS is being seen with respect to Evolve and cloud based services.Investec forecasts eps of 10.2p for the year ended March, with 12.5p this year.
