Accesso has acquired Ingresso, a trade only website that sells tickets to entertainment events. Ingresso acts as the principal on all bookings but allows third party websites, such as Lastminute.com, Amazon and a roster of small ones, to access the company’s live inventory through an XML feed from its system into their websites.Accesso has paid a full looking £17.5m (plus £10m earnout) for the business, which recorded a pretax profit of £1.2m on sales of £43.1m. But the deal is worth more in Accesso’s hands as there are obvious synergies to put the ticket inventory of its customers’ venues (leisure & entertainment attractions) in front of a larger pool of visitors across Ingresso’ ...
