The shares came off after TIG’s H1 trading update said that although motor claims volumes were generally OK, benign weather conditions had brought down claim volumes in the UK property claims side. At the same time, some contracts for its claims management software, which had been expected to have concluded in H1, have slipped into H2. One of these deals (worth £3.6m) has since been signed and £2.5m income will be recognized over the next 12 months.TIG also said its reseller agreement with Simbality Software has come to an end and it has sold the maintenance contracts to Simbality for £4m. The contracts contributed £1m to annual profits. UBS has shaded its eps forecast to 1.8p for the year ...
