At Sharewatch we have done very well out of the consulting engineering sector in the past, notably WSP Group which was, in fact, the very first company your editor ever visited back in 1992 at around 40p. Old timers may recall it became a ten-bagger as it subsequently spread its wings into the US and Scandinavia. Scott Wilson was a more recent favourite and we recorded a 540% gain in 15 months back in 2010 after two US firms battled it out to acquire it.
