May Gurney has issued an in-line preclose update ahead of full year results on 12 June. H2 has seen better than expected revenues from the original highways maintenance business and a good performance from its long-term utility services contracts to the water and gas sectors. Offsetting this has been some newer contracts in local authority recycling, which are taking longer to hit anticipated margins. TransLinc, bought in December, has performed well. The business is the leading outsourced fleet services specialist managing vehicles ranging from diggers and gritters to school buses for local councils.
