Even if the market has fallen out of love with Chinese companies there are one or two that we think will do well whatever the weather. Take the case of West China Cement (WCC; 182p), which  despite a sharp rally in the shares from their low point of 48p last month, still stand on a prospective PE of 2.4.As the company points out, the process of turning limestone into cement is fairly simple. The two main issues to manage in its business tend to be electricity prices (which are affected by the price of coal) and also transport as sometimes the cement needs to be moved long distances.
