Superglass has issued in-line results for the first six months to 28 February. Overall, sales were £20.1m, slightly down from £20.5m in H108. Pretax profit came in at £2.2m for adjusted eps of 3.5p. As has been expected for a while, Superglass is now starting to benefit from the Carbon Emissions Reduction Target (CERT) programme and the Government's additional £1bn fuel poverty package. These are both driving demand for glass fibre insulation, which is blown into domestic cavity walls and also other cured products that come in the form of slabs for use on rafters.
