Eaga is proving not to be the reliable growth stock management heralded it to be, with the company putting out another disappointing trading update. This said that the fundamental drivers of the business are unchanged - the spiralling fuel price continues to throw more and more people into fuel poverty (spending >10% of household income on heating) and the government continues to tackle this through their Warm Front legal commitments, which is managed by Eaga. Activity under the enlarged CERT programme is now at an all time high. Q1 sales are therefore significantly up on these businesses.The smaller area in social housing has however seen a few problems.
