Racecourse owner Arena, which owns Royal Windsor, Lingfield, Doncaster and Southwell racecourses, looks ready to enjoy a second burst of strong growth. The first came when the group launched a TV/internet racing channel & betting business in 2000, which was followed by a long period of stagnation when the dot com bubble burst. But, helped by management alterations, a new sense of dynamism and helpful changes in the horseracing regulatory environment, a new era of strong growth looks underway.
