Subscribers who have seen the dramatic growth at Asian Citrus and London Asia Capital will be interested in China Shoto. The company, already one of China’s largest suppliers of industrial batteries and one of a handful of Chinese companies now on AIM, is still at an early stage of growth. It currently owns three factories at Jiangsu Province, mostly supplying the burgeoning needs of China’s telecoms companies with batteries for back up power supply in their base stations and these generated revenues of £28m and a £3.8m pretax profit last year.
