A small UK-based company has grown its business on the back of providing a settlement service for these inter-company call charges. It might sound a simple business but mobile phone tariffs are incredibly complex, especially when charges for SMS texts and data are incorporated. A mobile company may also decide to favour one roaming partner over another depending on the discount they offer whilst currency, with each operator paying in their local currency, only complicates the settlement between operators even more.
