NETeller - Next move may be South Korea

NETeller reported its first results last month which piled on the positives by noting that it had doubled the rate of average daily signups to 1,821 in 2004, ending the year with 1.25m customers, more than double that of twelve months earlier (now 1.5m customers as at end March). That gave rise to a fee income of US$82.6m up from US$45m and a profit of US$48.5m up from US$25m. There was still corporation tax payable as NETeller operated under the Canadian tax jurisdiction for most of the year although it completed a move to the Isle of Man tax haven at the year end.
