Recently listed March Networks, a digital video surveillance business, is one of those companies which in an over-exuberant market could so easily become very overvalued as it is on a spectacularly rapid growth path. The group has a tailwind of heightened security concerns since the atrocities of 9/11 which has caused a proliferation of cameras and also more generally accelerated the replacement of analogue surveillance systems (which archive video images on VCRs) with digital ones (where videos are archived on a computer hard drive and can be accessed remotely).
