Kewill - Acquires generic shipping module for international trade

Since last month's write up, and as expected at that time, Kewill has announced an acquisition which adds a generic shipper module to its software portfolio, and has also issued a very positive trading update. The initial consideration being paid for Paral of India and the software & IP assets of ShipNow, which are being acquired as a single package, is US$3.05m (US$1.75m in cash plus new shares). In addition, there is a deferred consideration of up to US$9.12m based on sales of the ShipNow product over the next three years (with a level of US$39.6m required to trigger the maximum payment).
