SSP Group - JV to list in India at a time when Indian airport infrastructure is seeing blistering growth

SSP’s Q1 highlights that last year’s momentum in trading has continued with revenues +14%, LFL growth +6% and net contract gains +5%. There has been good performance across all regions with new contracts adding to a recovery in sales: North America +17% (LFL growth: +3%; net contract gains: +8%); Continental Europe +5% (+3%LFL); APAC & EMEE +41% (+14%) and the UK +9% (+9%). But what is set to galvanise the shares in the short term is that its JV, Travel Food Services, the leading player in the fast-growing airport quick service restaurant sector in India, is planning an IPO in its home market of India.
