Last time we said, “You must not under-estimate the possibility of Trump doing something very stupid.” Though he has now met the criteria of doing something very stupid, he hasn’t (yet) blown up the planet. To sidestep the risk of Trump distractions in the interim, it is good to see the world through the more objective prism of stock market indices. Obviously our particular interest is smaller companies, and we compare these indices with those for larger caps.
