UPGS has said that following a strong H1, full year results will be ahead of current expectations, with revenues >£135m, EBITDA >£12.6m and pretax profit > £10.3m. Sales to Online and Supermarket channels performed particularly well, continuing the recent trend. Beldray, the laundry, floor care, heating and cooling brand, has continued to be the standout performer across the portfolio. Cookware has also performed well as baking saw a surge in interest during lockdown. Net debt at the end of January was only £1.5m. H1 results will be reported on 21 April.
