Xpediator’s pre-close update said it expects to report sales of £212m (10.4% organic) for FY19 and a pretax profit of £5m. Although this is well down from the £8.4m originally forecast a year ago, it seems Xpediator is finally on the mend with Stephen Blythe back in the CEO’s role. Net cash is expected to be £6.9m, up from £3.4m.On the positive side, the Romanian Pallex business continues to expand in CEE and is now handling 60,700 pallets per month (2018: 50,000). Affinity is also trading well. More reassuringly, the two bum acquisitions, (Benfleet, Import Services) are now back on-track.
