Scientific Digital Imaging (SDI) sees the world through a very narrow filter - operating a “buy and build” strategy in the scientific instruments sector, buying market leaders in small, often very specialised niches.This month, for instance, the company acquired Graticules, a manufacturer and supplier of standard and bespoke reticles. A reticle, also known as a graticule, is a glass disc fitted into the eyepiece of a microscope or telescope.
