Excellent news from Telford, which has, as we anticipated, exchanged contracts for the sale of The Pavilions, Caledonian Road, Islington to a subsidiary of London & Quadrant, one of the UK's leading housing associations.You might recall this was one of the sites that previously had a planning delay (June 2015 SCSW). Usually on private sales, Telford only recognises profits when it hands over the keys, so that planning delay would have seen profits in the year about to start on 1 April slip slightly as the development would not complete until mid 2018 (Peel Hunt forecasts eps of 36.5p for year ended March and 33.4p year about to begin).
