2015 results this month were overshadowed by the surprise acquisition of Synergy from Tribal for £20.25m. Synergy provides management information systems to Children Services Departments of local authorities to help staff support the education and safety of children. It is used in over 100 local authorities.As subscribers will recall Servelec has two business units – Health & Social Care and Automation. Within the former, it owns the Corelogic software that is used by social workers for case management in childcare, which was acquired in 2014.
