The shares came off after Quantum said that only five regulated products were launched by its niche pharmaceutical business (Colonis) in the year to end of January rather than the 10 anticipated at H1 results in October. This was down to delays in getting approvals for its regulated products but none of the products have fallen by the wayside. It added that the remaining five will be launched this year so the development status of the pipeline of 70 products is roughly 12 months behind expectations.The delays to launching its high margin regulated drugs, mean it will now miss forecasts with N+1 Singer forecasting eps of 6.1p for the year ended in January.
