An outstanding update from Photo-Me with a potentially transformational development.As we said in our main write up last month, trading in Japan remained strong supported by the   start of the Japanese ID programme. Profits in the three months to January increased by 90% on a year ago and for the year to April profits will now be “in excess of £40m” (a 9% upgrade on the month) but Photo-Me adds that if trading in Japan continues to be strong during Q4, full-year profitability is likely to be higher.
