NAHL has acquired Searches UK for £2.01m. Searches is a leading conveyancing search provider for residential property transactions. The Company acts as a service provider to over 140 solicitors and licensed conveyancers for which it organises local authority, drainage, environmental and chancel searches. The business will be consolidated into the NAHL conveyancing business, Fitzalan. Searches’ adjusted profit before taxation for the year to 31 March 2015 was £0.3m.Separately NAHL has also issued a trading update.
