Fusionex’s 2014 results showed the top line up 30% to RMB57.1m (£10.2m) helped by the Q1 launch of GIANT, the Big Data analytics solution. In the first nine months, 12 new customer accounts were secured against expectations of 10. None of the new contracts have a full impact immediately, of course, because the company tends to rent GIANT software over a period of typically three years but the corollary is that income from these contracts will repeat in the current year, so growth looks assured. Adjusted pretax profit was up 11% at RMB23.9m (£4.3m) and based on a higher tax charge (15%) eps was 8.4p.
