Cohort - Defence business with £147m order book on a tear

Signs of an extreme budget stretch in the defence sector is good news for Cohort. The company was established in 2006 and is the parent company for four businesses operating in defence and related markets: SCS, MASS, SEA and MCL, which together provide a wide array of technical services and products to the MoD and the armed forces. Its areas of expertise include product design, tactical consultancy, software development, military training, secure IT services and database management.The company has had a few headaches over the past three years but its problems seem to have been relatively shortlived.
