Benchmark has acquired Improve, a Swindon based training business that provides veterinary CPD training, for £3.2m upfront with another £3m based on future performance. Improve (which will be absorbed into Benchmark’s technical publishing business) runs CPD courses for veterinarians across the UK, Scandinavia and Europe from its bases in the UK and Portugal. In 2014, Improve had sales of £3.5m and made a profit before tax of £0.5m and the deal is expected to be eps enhancing from day one. Buy on a two / three year view.  ...
