Ahead of interims on 30 April, Avon said that the positive momentum seen last year has continued. The protection & defence side has seen substantially stronger trading. Deliveries to the US Department of Defense remain on track whilst sales outside the DoD have grown. On the dairy side, Avon said the market has returned to more normal buying patterns after a fall in feed prices has freed up cash for farmers. Full year results are due on 30 April. Tipped at 98p in December '09, the spurt since September makes them a five-bagger. Sell enough to run the rest for free. ...
