We’ve been unsuccessfully trying to arrange a one-to-one briefing since the turn of the year with Vianet although it has proved difficult with the chief executive spending most of his time in the US. A trading update this month explains why with Vianet saying it intends to “accelerate investment in the USA and extend iDraft expansion beyond the Colorado market” and  that “discussions are taking place with national chains across ten states.” Increased US investment will mean that these operations record a loss of £0.4m versus an earlier expected profit.  At the same time, Vianet has also said there has been some pressure in the UK market, which has seen less favourable contract renewal ...
