Shares in engineering consultancy Scott Wilson finally show signs ofrecovery and with quoted rival WSP (WSH; 569p) reporting a strong setof results, the timing to add could not be more prescient WSPshares are showing a gain of 6% on the day as we writefollowing those results. Scott Wilson is, of course, much smaller thanWSP with annual sales expected to be Â£330m in the current year to endApril against the Â£578m just reported by WSP. But Scott Wilson has beengrowing very quickly. Since flotation on the Full List in March â€˜06,Scott Wilson has grown from its position as the10th largest UKconsultant to 8th position and aspires to be the 5th within the nextfive years, just behind WSP.
