Per Jonsson was appointed as Cosalt’s chief executive in August 2006 with the stated intention that he would transform the once sleepy conglomerate, which has been around for 135 years, into "a leading global supplier and through life manager of critical safety equipment for people exposed to hostile environments." Anyone can make punchy projections like that but fast forward just 18 months and under Jonsson, Cosalt has completed three acquisitions and is well on the way to delivering on that aim.
