TRL - Investec upgrades profits by 25%

TRL has reported that trading for the twelve months to 31 March will be ahead of market expectations. The Technology & Innovation division has experienced strong demand for electronic counter measures although this has been offset by a lower than expected result from the Government Comms division. The shortfall there is due to the tsunami effect; TRL was in discussions to supply equipment to certain countries affected by the tsunami and this has delayed orders. Investec has upgraded by a massive 25% from £2.1m to £2.8m pretax (eps of 8.7p). The forecast for next year rises by 5% to £3.9m for eps of 10.9p.Tipped at 140.5p last August. Hold.  ...
