Shares in subscription publisher, Electric Word, (ELE; 8p) joined AIM back in 2000. At that time, the shares were overpriced. Based on just two titles for athletes, Sports Injury Bulletin and Peak Performance, sales were just £0.4m whilst the company had a market cap of £3.1m. But the latest results for the year to 30 November show that sales have grown to £5.5m and the company had reported its first ever profit of £135,000 helped by three acquisitions during the past few years but also through impressive organic growth.
