Xaar - 12 product launches in 2024

Since my last update, Xaar has released in-line FY results, highlighting a strengthening product and project pipeline. Revenues, which are backward looking, were £70.6m or 3% lower year-on-year, driven by lower printhead revenues partially offset by strong growth in 3D printing. Adjusted pretax profit grew to £2.9m. Net cash was £7.1m. Although there has been subdued demand for printheads due to industrial buyers conserving their cash whilst interest rates were high, Investec makes an additional relevant point to why these results are meaningless - it takes two or three years of testing before the printers are commercially available, so this P&L reflects launches in 2019/20.
