Filta Group - Launches COVID-19 sanitisation service

The shares jumped by over 50% the day after Filta launched a specialist COVID-19 sanitising service to help businesses and public bodies put appropriate safety measures in place. The Filtashield service uses a laboratory-tested sanitising solution, effective against viruses, killing them within minutes and is applied to a surface by spraying or fogging, leaving behind a mono-molecular layer that protects surfaces for up to 30 days. Filta said it has a growing number of orders from existing clients, as well as interest from businesses outside of its traditional customer base of restaurants and hospitality including shops, offices and healthcare facilities.
