Softcat has reported a strong exit to Q3 running slightly ahead of Q2 and with a revenue mix weighted towards higher-value segments such as security, networking and data centres. There has also been a “vendor procurement arrangement,” which has generated an additional £2m profit. Leeds has now grown to 40 account managers and the Glasgow office opens soon. Peel Hunt has lifted its forecast eps by 6% to 18.6p. Meanwhile, the cash pile is expected to climb to £60m by the year end and to £80m by next year, paving the way for special dividends.
