Still not quite the chastened reporting style I was expecting from QP after last year’s delays to its product launches. But despite those delays, helped by contributions from the Lamda and Nupharm acquisitions, for the year to end January, sales reached £70m and adjusted profits £10.2m, up from £61.7m and £7.1m, respectively. Adjusted eps was 7.1p.The core Specials arm, which supplies unlicenced specials, recorded sales up 4% to £54.4m but there was a flat underlying profitability of £10.9m as business continues to see pricing pressures in the NHS.
