Our decision to initiate coverage on Filtronic last month has been vindicated by the largest contract win to date for its integrated antenna from its Tier One customer. The US$24.5m order is almost double the three previous ones combined, which totalled US$13.8m. The current order is an inventory fill for the customer's sales channel so it’s largely a one off but as Filtronic says, the order will be fulfilled in the year starting 1 June, so it’s clearly a bumper year ahead.
