CSR showed its fighting spirit with Q1 results emerging at the top end of guidance. Sales were 6% ahead of consensus at US$227m including $73.2m from Zoran. CSRâ€™s Q1 revenue outperformance was broadly based across handsets, in-dash automotive applications and some legacy products that came with Zoran. Meanwhile, the strategy to grow platform related business continues unabated with platforms representing 57% of sales and lifting gross margins to 50.6%.CSR has also reconfirmed that it expects US$245m-US$265m sales for Q2 and to meet the consensus forecast of US$996m for the full year.
