Mears - 93% of forecast sales in the bag

Mears has confirmed trading is in line. Â£120m of new contracts have been won in recent months including several new domiciliary care contracts worth Â£37m, a Â£52m 10 year social housing contract, a voids and maintenance contract with Bedfordshire Pilgrins Housing Association and the rest is made up of smaller social housing contracts. The company said that the overall order book is Â£2.7 billion and 93% of this yearâ€™s Â£620m consensus sales forecast and 80% of next yearâ€™s Â£667m is already in the bag.Collins Stewartâ€™s forecast eps of 28p for the current year to 31 December with 31.7p next year.
