Rather an odd looking statement from Rok at the AGM in light of its full year trading update in April. This said that the Response Maintenance side was impacted by the bad weather conditions at the start of the year, however the backlog of work has been progressively recovered. This means there is going to be a greater H2 weighting to profits this year. Rok also said it needs to restructure its plumbing, heating and electrical business, which has been impacted by a number of loss-making contracts. Consequently, full year results will now come in below expectations, with Numis forecasting Â£19.4m pretax for eps of 7.9p but as the broker notes, there is an uncomfortable 15/85 H1/H2 split to this forecast.
