First, a correction to last month's article. The chief executive is in fact Darren Throop (who we had spoken to last month) not Scott MacFayden (inhouse corporations communications manager who we hadn't spoken to). Our apologies to both of them. Results for the year to 31 March have since been reported and as we had reckoned, came in ahead of expectations. Helped by a strong Q4 and a better than expected benefit from currency, revenues were up by a third to £444m. Pretax profit was up 35% to £22.1m and eps was 11.5p on a low 4% tax charge. Brilliant.Overall, EBITDA was up a massive 36% to £34.3m with 46% of this coming from the film side. The Film division saw 123 releases, up from 111 the year before. < ...
