There have been a cluster of infill acquisitions in the past couple of months. Four of these (Melton, UTEC, LDS and GIS) for an initial £2.7m, strengthen Spice's capabilities in the area of private power network maintenance and refurbishment and also overhead lines. Another acquisition,Energy 2000, for an initial £2.25m, is an energy broker and procures gas and electricity supplies for a range of commercial customers, reinforcing the existing position as the third largest energy procurement intermediary.Spice also issued an in-line pre-close statement together with a number of contract wins.
